Sonic Introduces Trick Or Treat Blast Milkshake To Menus For Halloween

While actually trick-or-treating may not be possible this year, Sonic is introducing a new menu item that just might make up for that.

On Friday (September 25), Sonic introduced the Trick or Treat Blast to its menus nationwide. According to a press release, this new milkshake blends three Halloween favorites with Sonicโ€™s Real Ice Cream into one frozen dessert. The Blasts are available as the Vanilla or Chocolate Trick or Treat Blast. Each blast includes M&Mโ€™S Minis, Snickers bar pieces and Oreo cookie pieces, as well as rich, chocolate syrup.

โ€œThe crunch of three different chocolate candy and cookie pieces combined with Sonicโ€™s smooth and creamy,100% Real Ice Cream work in perfect harmony to create a craveable and irresistible dessert,โ€ said Scott Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development for Sonic. โ€œBy packing in bites of Halloween favorites in each spoonful, weโ€™ve captured the thrill of digging into a trick or treat haul in one frozen treat, served Sonic style.โ€

If you're planning to face off against any vampires this Halloween, Sonic has a solution for that, too. The burger chain is also bringing back the Jr. Garlic Butter Bacon Burger this spooky season. For just $2.99, the burger starts with creamy garlic butter seared into a 100% pure beef patty and topped with melted American cheese, crispy bacon, mayo and grilled onions on a toasted bakery bun. A quarter-pound option is also available for $4.79.

Will you be stopping Sonic this Halloween season?
