The Annual Elinor K. Ross Walk Your Paws fundraiser is our biggest fundraising event of the year to support the operations of our shelter. We are contracted for animal control services and funded in part by the Wood County Commission. The remainder of funds required to allow us to provide the best care we can to homeless, hurt, and abused animals is entirely reliant on donations and fundraising.
Animals are vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and altered while in our care. Sick and injured animals are examined and treated by our veterinarian and sometimes need to be sent for further treatment or testing. We have a wonderful staff who provides great care to these animals while they are with us. We truly cannot do any of this without the support of our community. We hope you can join us for a fun-filled day at this year's Walk.
