Hilary Duff is learning how to balance life as a mom of two kids. And she's admitting that it certainly is not easy. Especially when she's handling breastfeeding, making breakfast, getting everyone dressed and in the car all before school drop off.
Hilary has two kids - a son, Luca, 6, and a daughter, Banks, who was born in October of last year - and she never hides how busy those two kids keep her.
But while she keeps it honest and real at pretty much all times on her Instagram, she also keeps it positive. In her recent post about a hectic school morning, she also wrote about how proud she is of other moms like her who deal with the crazy of life with kids.
"This is the first day I had two kids on my own on a school morning. Breastfeeding and making breakfast, getting 2 kids and myself dressed and packed and out the door while tripping over 4 dogs and feeding the damn fish was not easy. But I did it. And I'm proud of myself!"
Hilary also shared a hilarious story about how she saves time in the morning: "laying outfits out for me baby and Luca was essential lol I even got 5 minutes to do some makeup... then turned around to see Luca had used my lipstick as warrior paint on his face."
YEP. I can totally see this happening in the future. You think you have it all together, and then your kids are drawing all over themselves with makeup. Oh well!
I can't even imagine what it's going to be like trying to get the twins to school, with lunches packed, all dressed and me and Michael heading out the door... but I'll try the Hilary method and plan outfits the night before and just do the best I can, right?!
